Basketball Check List

Basketball Coaches Pre-season Check List

This list is mostly directed at high school teams and travel teams. 

• Set your season budget
• Outline your tryouts
• Set a tentative meet the parents night (if applicable)
• Do an inventory check on your home and away jerseys
• Order your practice gear and shorts if needed
• Make arrangements for out of town games (buses, hotels, meals)
• Meet with your team leaders about game day wear (polos, 1/4 zips, etc.)
• Schedule around holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, MLK, etc.)
• Put together your team and parent spirit packs
• Decide what coaches gear you want
